If you are in need of a vacation but don’t have the time required for you to leave the city, then a staycation is just what you need. Denver is a city full of surprises many locals haven’t taken the time to explore. Put on your tourist cap and get ready to explore your city.

Union Station
Denver’s renovated Union Station is all the rage and is the perfect addition to any staycation. Union Station is a one stop shop for tasty food, coffee, dessert and drinks. Take some time to wander around and get a little lost. Union Station is over 100 years old and is full of history. If you’re really wanting a getaway you can even stay in the Crawford Hotel connected to Union Station. Everything you need all in one place.

One of Colorado’s biggest selling points is access to the mountains. Take advantage of all the quaint towns at your fingertips and plan a day trip. There’s lots of see in Colorado’s mountain towns. For a cowboy experience head to Steamboat. For something higher class head to Vail or Aspen. For a nature filled getaway you can head to Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park. The sky's the limit so be creative.
