Toilets
Don’t forget to clean around the base of your toilet especially if you have little boys in the house.
Shower
Take the time to clean hard water stains off of your shower head and give the walls of your shower, caulking and grout a good scrubbing.
Grout
Pick up a grout brush and dip it straight in bleach to clean discolored areas.
Sink
Pour vinegar or baking soda down the drain followed by hot water. Wipe the faucet with disinfecting wipes.

Empty your drawers and cabinets and get rid of what you don’t need. Discard old makeup and expired medicines.
Bath Mats & Towels
Wash or replace bath mats and towels.
BEDROOMS
___________________________________________________________________________
Closets
Donate clothes, shoes and accessories you haven’t worn in a 6 months to a year.
Mattress
Rotate your mattress. If you see any discoloration you clean it with baking soda and a vacuum.
Under the Bed
Is the stuff under your bed collecting dust mites? Take everything out, sort through it all and find it a permanent home.
Bed Linens
Clean all of your linens. You may needed to take your comforter to a laundromat.
ALL OVER
___________________________________________________________________________
Declutter
Make three piles: Trash, donate and keep. Put everything in the keep pile away when you’ve finished cleaning.
High Surfaces
Pull out the step stool and rag and dust off all those hard to reach places.
Ceiling Fans
Grab an old pillowcase, cover a blade and slowly slide the pillow case off. Repeat on all blades.
Window Coverings
For blinds, start with a vacuum to get off any loose dust and then take a wet rag across the length of the blinds, working from top to bottom. If you have curtains, take them down and throw them in the washer or take them to the dry cleaner.
Dust
Take it one surface at a time and remove all decorations, dusting each one individually before putting them back in place.
Windows
Pick a warm and overcast day to get the best results.
Baseboards
The easiest way to tackle this project is with a container of moist wipes. Run your finger with a wipe along the tops of the board and an open palm and wipe along the baseboard faces.
Carpets
Vacuum all carpets, spot clean stains and consider hiring a professional team to come in for deep cleaning.
Furniture
Vacuum all fabric, clean under cushions, steam clean throw pillows and polish wood furniture.
